The regal is one of the most beautifully appointed ships we've ever been on, and we've been on a lot. Everything is actually quite Regal, from the colors to the appointments. Whoever designed this ship did an outstanding job - everything works with everything else. We can't say enuf about it.

The arrangements and deckplans are outstanding, from the cells (cabins) to the decks, to the food. It's also wonderful to have a laundromat on each floor. We like to plan back-to-back cruises with RCL first (they have no laundry), and Princess last which allows laundering between cruises.

The entertainment/shows I rarely attend, however I would like to go to shows that better suit me (I like comedians, ancient pop music, serious talented singers, and sometimes Vegas style shows).

We usually get a balcony cabin, but this time we decided to try an inside, to see if we'd get claustrophobic (we didn't). Although it was a bit tight, we actually didn't miss the balcony. The room was very nicely arranged, and the bathroom was very well laid out - one of the best bathrooms we've used. The shower had a grab bar near the entrance, instead of on the usual back wall, where it jabs you in the side when showering. I'm a big guy, and I had no problem showering and turning around. Nice. But, I wish they'd give us a 120v outlet in the bath, for a night light. Without it, we have to leave the large overhead light on which is a waste. The bed and bedding were outstanding, and we slept like lambs. The digital TV (it appeared to be 39") was a wonder, but it was very difficult to connect an external TV signal to it - I had to use my phone as a remote control, as the provided remote does not allow selecting inputs. But, one can select from a bunch of digital movies, and pause, rewind, restart any. And, thank you sooo much for FoxNews (MSNBC was also selectable for the liberals). Again, Nice. Fridge worked nicely, and kept our wine and insulin chilled. Everything else was as expected for an inside cabin, although it was a bit tight - we'll do it again.
