This was a great cruise, you never know what your going to get when you travel a lot. This was our 17th cruise with Carnival and the last time on the Glory was a miserable experience. On this trip we used the new tunnel to get to the port of Miami and it was incredible, straight into the port and no traveling into downtown with the back roads, traffic and stoplights. No toll.

Dropped off the bags and went right across the street to the parking garage. It was around 10:45 and we went right inside to checkin and there was probably 4 to 6 people in front of us and right off to the metal detectors with no one in that line. We are Platinum Members, no one in that checkin line and went to the lounge. We were there about 5 to 10 minutes and then on our way to the ship.

Everyone was great on this trip and very polite. As usual the upper management staff seems to distant themselves from the guests, very much above the rest of us. Never speaking to anyone and always on a mission. If you ask them to take a photo with you they do it and smile. Then back to a frown and on their way.

Balcony

Cabin 8D

Standard Balcony room. Plenty of space and storage for two. The cafeteria area is above. There was noise while in the room at night. I think I heard a chair slide once.
