This was our 1st cruise on the Breeze, but we have been on many Carnival ships including one of the sister ships the Dream. Our first impression was great. Our cruise was an 8 day cruise over Thanksgiving. Embarkation was fast and efficient. Our time from entering the terminal to getting on the ship was less than 30 minutes. Living in Orlando, we are used to waiting in lines at theme parks, so this line seemed easy, moved much faster, and seemed well organized as it should.

The decor of the ship is not like any other Carnival ship we have been on, and we have been on many. The bars and lounges had the feel of places in Florida, not Las Vegas. The decor of the hallways was very much like a Caribbean hotel, not like Vegas. It was very nice and welcoming. The Lido deck buffet area was tropical and seemed very relaxing. Without going into too much narrative, I decided to list the pros and cons of the ship below.

Pros:

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

We had a balcony room on the 8th deck forward. A couple things stood out to us. The toilet seat is so thin you will think you are sitting on a toilet with the seat up.Shampoo and soap in shower are watered down and useless.Showers in room provide lots of water and are nice. Plenty of storage for all your things, but never enough hangars so we always bring extra with us.First cabin we have ever been in where we had to turn the A/C down a bit because it was cold. We always bring a fan when we cruise but this time we never used it.
