I cruise solo often and a Diamond plus with RCCL, the Quantum is not for solo cruisers. They seat you alone in restaurants. Dynamic Dining no main dining room. Reservations required you don't have same server each day or meet people from all over world. The ship is absolutely beautiful but geared towards younger people who , are not retired, don't have money to cruise as often as us repeat cruisers and only can cruise when on vacation. I will admit food much better. Most people cruising on this first Caribbean trip are not happy. I have a suite and have been unable to sleep due to the terrible loud creaking noise in cabin. Structural issue. WD 40 will not help. It is from floor to floor I the structural columns in cabin. Even the halls creak. When we are between ports and going slower it is fine but when at sea it is unbearable. Earplugs don't even work. Hoping they find problem before the Anthem is completed. Diamond lounge is a joke. So small, unappealing. Consiegers lounge beautiful ,but also very crowed because no one wants to go in Diamond lounge.
