I recently cruised aboard the Carnival Pride for a 7 day cruise. I had been on the Pride last year and was pleasantly surprised with the updates added since. Guy Fieri's Burger Joint and Blue Iguana Café were my favorite upgrades. There were several other food updates and they were all good. Add in the new waterpark/slides and Dive-In Movie screen as well as the new Serenity Deck and the cruise was very enjoyable.

Our cabin was clean and well kept, the steward learned our name the first day and never failed to greet us and always had a smile. As were all the stewards we encountered on the 8th deck.

The food aboard the boat was fantastic and the portions bordered on huge in the main dining room. We were never disappointed with the selection and tried pretty much everything that interested us. One minor problem at breakfast and our waiter, Sean-John took care of it immediately. He was also our head-waiter at dinner and was terrific. We ate at David's Steakhouse and I can tell you, it's worth every penny.

Cabin 4D

Our last 2 cruises we booked the Grand Suite......after thinking about how long we stayed in our cabin we opted this time for the interior room and didn't miss it at all....with the exception of the balcony.....the upside to interior rooms is we slept so well, (too well sometimes) we didn't get up till after 9am....very late for us.
