I say it was the Inaugural sail, because RCI called it that. But there was nothing to differentiate this sailing from any other sailing we have taken on any line. There was no inaugural fanfare, no celebration of any kind. There was nothing to indicate the excitement that RCI built up, with the promotions of the Quantum Inaugural Sailing. This was an unexpected disappointment.

Calling the ship Reservations of the Seas is due to the fact that you need to make reservations for your meals in the various venues, reservations for the entertainment shows, reservations for North Star, the RipCord I-Fly, the Flowrider, Rock Wall etc. In addition to scheduling shore excursions. You had to book out your entire cruise minute by minute beforehand and then scramble to meet all your appointments.

This ship is BEAUTIFUL. She is stylish and full of light. It was easy to get from place to place with all the maps posted throughout. And I Love all the artwork.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D7

This cabin was great. There is plenty of storage everywhere. The bathroom is a great size, but there needs to be a better shampoo/soap holder in the shower. Our balcony was spacious with comfy chairs. This cabin is Port side, but that did not seem to matter, as we were never pulled into the ports on the port side. Weird.
