My husband and I just disembarked the ship in Miami and wanted to review the experience immediately regarding our experience on the ship which was extremely underwhelming, especially considering it was our honeymoon. There were a couple of highlights which will be included in my review but the majority of our experience was disappointing.

To start, the embarkation process was good. Lines moved quickly and we were able to get into our stateroom quickly. Upon entering our stateroom, which was an upgrade to the family veranda in room 8108, we were shocked by the condition. Our bed skirt was disgusting and stained. Both sets of window curtains were ripped and dilapidated. The veranda curtain was stained with a dried blood looking color. The closets in both rooms were detached at the bottom. These issues except the veranda curtains were eventually fixed after we informed management. My dissatisfaction comes from the fact I shouldn't be needing to inform your staff of such issues during my honeymoon when your marketing tag line is "modern luxury." The more disappointing issue was after making the issue known to management, our stateroom attendant approached us and told us to bring concerns to him as almost to say he was upset we went to Borthosz in guest relations.

The second issue we found was the food. The staff in al bacio cafe was slow and rude. We ordered two mocha lattes and two chocolate chip cookies. The plate with the cookies arrived with custard from a prior guest's dessert. The plate had not been cleaned. My coffee mug was dirty with lip residue from the prior guest. I brought this to the attention of a staff member and she never apologized she only said, "Oh" and then started to make another one. Her response was not apologetic nor sympathetic. When we raised this issue to management we were offered a free speciality restaurant meal. We already had the 5 meal package but accepted anyway because friends invited us to dine with them.
