My husband and I (both 31 years old) just returned from our 1st ever cruise 11 days ago and we still can't stop talking about it. We chose to take our honeymoon aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise due to fantastic reviews from not only friends but those posted here. We had fun from day 1 to day 10 with not one complaint!!

Embarkation was a breeze - we flew into Fort Lauderdale from Toronto, Canada and took a short shuttle ride (found the shuttle at the airport) to the Miami Port - once we got to the port we were on the ship and in our stateroom within 20 minutes - we checked in around 3pm so it wasn't busy at all - we we're 3rd in line to be checked in.

Food - Incredible!!! We ate mainly in the Minstrel dining room (late seating is best that way you don't have to rush back at each port for dinner or take a nap before dinner as we did) for dinner - everything was fantastic - especially any of the meals involving beef or steak!! For lunch and breakfast we stuck with the Windjammer on most occasions as it was the fastest considering it was buffet - great selection - never boring!! If you can spare the extra cash - Portofino's AND Chops Grille are a MUST!! You will never walk away hungry and the food was fabulous (again, especially the Steak)
