Port of Houston
The Port of Houston provides easy access. Upon arrival, we were guided to the terminal entrance where a porter unloaded our luggage. The next time we saw our luggage was in our cabin. Parking was easy. We were able to park near the entrance.
Upon entering the terminal we were guided to the registration area. Since we were staying in The Haven area we entered a room set aside for suite and latitude guest. After a short wait, we received our room keys. Then an employee of the ship escorted us to our suite and the Moderno Restaurant for lunch. It took quite a while for all our luggage to arrive. The embarkation was a wonderful experience.
The Haven is very relaxing. The suites are very nice with a private balcony. Our suite included a living, dining area, 2 bedrooms, and 2 baths. The master bath includes 2 sinks, tub, and huge shower. The actual Haven includes many areas for lounging, an eating area, a pool, a hot tub, an exercise area, and a private sun deck. It was never crowded. Note: The second bedroom is small and really for children. The addition of a butler, steward and a concierge makes for a very enjoyable cruise.
