My wife and I took our family to Mediterranean with 3 BA category balcony rooms for 6 people. This is the first time I cruise with NCL and I was disappointed about the size of a balcony room comparing to Celebrity, Princess, Royal Caribbean,.... The bathroom was so small that I could barely make a turn inside it.

The room service was good, equal to their competitors. Food at Main dinning was good in presentation and taste. However, wine selection and quality of wine in Main dinning were the worst I had in about 10+ ocean cruises. We ordered several different types of red wine with our dinner and none of them was good independent to the price. Please note that the wine we ordered did not turn sour but it just tasted so bad. I am not a wine expert but do drink a lot of red wine. Now I know how to tell a bad wine from good ones.

Quality of food at buffet was among the worst of all cruises I have taken. Entertainment was very good with a very talented and creative magician. Aerobic show by a Polish couple was also very good while the vocal performance was mediocre at best. Read more
