My family and i cruised for Thanksgiving with some friends. Because I am a business traveler and spend 100's of nights on the road. The idea of a basic package without a view wasn't what we wanted. I upgraded to 2 balcony suites and the Aurea package. Cost was around 6500.00 usd and another 2800.00 usd in extras.

Upon check in 5 of 6 bags shows up cabins, 1 missing. The missing bag is mine of course, XXLT not finding clothes along the way is what I'm saying.. 1 trip per hour from 5 till midnight yielded nothing more then bad info. I was told they delivered my bag to the wrong room and the crew was searching the ship for my bag.I was told the check the docks and the luggage area, nothing. After hours in the same clothes I went to bed without being offered a toothbrush!!! This is the beginning of a couple days of bad management and poor customer service training. The next day at noon, after 3 trips to the Customer service desk that morning,( still in same clothes), on trip 4, I was referred to and manager. I explained the problem and said that if they couldn't find the bag, we thought is best we depart at first stop in Jamaica, He replied" OK", has he walked off. I was then referred to a specialist, within the hour my bag was found. It had been held because of a corkscrew in my shaving kit. No one ever looked, the bag just sat all night on deck 4. The night before I was told they had checked?

In the guide it tells you can special events for parties. We had planned our son's 14th birthday party. If you want to arrange this, you dine at a specialty restaurant that is an extra charge. Zero flexibility, delivered in the rudest way. As part of my package we received 2 hour long massages. It was wonderful and I scheduled 2 more. One on Wednesday and one on Friday. On Wednesday has I was leaving my stateroom, and my wife decided she wanted something. We arrived and I checked in while she looked the menu over. I tookj a seat and watched my wife with no appointment and 4 others enter the spa as I sat. After 15 minutes I went to the desk and explained we had dinner and the time. I sat 10 minutes longer till I left the spa. When I arrived back to meet my wife, I cancelled my Friday massage. I was never even offered an apology. I was taken back by that, maybe my expectations are to high. I know if was is a Hilton or Intercontinental I would have got a call and apology...

Cabin Review

Cabin 9

We left feeling like it was very expensive for the quality of service. The staff is wonderful, but the management is rude.
