I just came back from the inaugural cruise (Nov 23, 2014-Dec 1, 2014) and it was the worst vacation I have ever had. This ship and the crew were NOT ready to sail. Although there are problems with the technology, my biggest complaint was the absolutely horrible service! I know what you are thinking, I am too picky. No I am not. Everyone had the same complaints and I am not exaggerating. Non-existent wait service on the pool deck or in the Solarium, out of the 8 days and 24 meals I can honestly say only 4 servers were high quality and professional. We never got a proper breakfast served to us. Something was always missing or they ran out. Dynamic Dining was a painful experience. I was tethered to my the calendar on my smart phone all week in order to keep track of my dinner and show reservations. If I had wanted to be a slave to my schedule I would have stayed at my office. The beds are hard as a rock. I requested a foam egg carton for my bed (they have them for other ships) but was told they were not available for this ship.
The ship and shows are spectacular and the food (when served properly) was excellent, however, by the 5th day I was ready to get off the ship. Perhaps once this ship and its crew work out the kinks, it will be a better experience for others. Sadly, I saved for two years to take my Mother on this ship and it's criminal that RCCL allowed us to sail knowing they weren't staffed or trained properly.
This cabin is a handicapped room, very large but sadly it is situated below and next to a service area. We heard banging and rolling of carts and stomping of feet ALL night. After two sleepless nights I begged to be moved. Thankfully, they moved us to 13202 (not handicapped) and provided a shower stool for my Mother to use. This room was very nice but small.
