This is our 5th Celebrity Cruise and 24th cruise overall. I won't talk about the Eastern Caribbean because we have done that many times and it is uneventful for us. I will describe the ship and Celebrity in general.

Embarkation in Miami was as organized as I think they had room to be organized, but it was long and crowded. We arrived at 1pm and waited about 1 hour in total to board. They let my brother and sister-in-law (first time Celebrity cruisers) come along with us in the Captain's Club line as the general boarding line was so very long. Do not attempt to take wine in a bottle bigger than 750 ml. Ours was confiscated and returned the last day of the cruise. The muster drill was very, very long. A bit silly, really because it was repeated in about 5 languages followed by a movie.

The ship is beautiful and very well laid out. I love the entertainment in the atrium. It is easily viewable from many, many decks which allowed more people to casually enjoy whatever was happening. There was karaoke, bands, line dancing, dance lessons.... Something for everybody. Our room was on deck 8 right by the elevators and we could not hear any noise from the atrium or the Hideaway. We sailed over Thanksgiving so we did hear some kids running in the halls, but for the most part the kids were well behaved and just having fun.

Cabin 1B

The cabin was quiet with minimal storage for clothes but lots of storage in the bathroom. Very near the elevator.
