Cruised on the Dawn back in 2006 and swore off NCL after having a horrible experience. Decided to give NCL another chance a few weeks ago, and I must say that I was impressed with the improvements. The food and service all around is MUCH...MUCH improved. We never ate in the Manhattan room, so we pretty much stayed with Savor/Taste and O'Sheehan's. Ate in the hibachi restaurant one night, which was well worth the extra few dollars. Waited around 15 minutes to get a table in each place for dinner, was no wait for lunch and the food was amazing.

Booked a few shows prior to sailing (which I highly recommend you do as well, as shows will fill up), and the shows we saw, Rock of Ages was amazing, The Second City sketch nights were much better than the improv shows and Burn the floor was ok. If you book prior to sailing and you would like to see additional shows you must go to the box office to do so as the cabin booking system will not allow you to book the same show more than once. Howl at the moon dueling pianos was awesome every time we went to see them play.

The above listed was the great was great part...No onto the bad was bad part....
