I had been on two Carnival cruises before and have been looking at reviews and comparisons to Royal Caribbean and many people said they preferred Royal so we thought we would give it a try. To our disappointment there wasn’t very much stuff to do on the ship itself compared to carnival that’s for sure.

Activities: There was apparently pool games which consisted of one pool game that lasted 10 minutes if that, Dancing with director once again only like 5 to 10 minutes. Most of the fun activities for young adults were only offered after 9 pm at night and when you get up early in the morning every day to be able to go in port shopping/ excursions it’s hard to stay up and active when there is no activities going on in the evening until then.

Dining room: we had booked my time as we have always done on previous cruises. This time it wasn’t “my time” at all it was what was available. You had to book the day prior of when you wanted to eat and it depended on what was left over. If I wanted to book before I would of took a certain time frame in the booking time. This was not convenient at all if we wanted to go to sit down meal we had to rush and make sure to get back for their time booking.
