All excursions were rained out but we thought we would get off the ship and ended up at the bar just off the ship (it is a tent more or less) called Monkey LA LA. The folks there are a riot, we laughed the day away in a pouring rainstorm and enjoyed several local beers (Do not miss Salva Vida) and had many many monkey shots. They make a very nice margarita from scratch with no mixes (very yummy). Do not miss the food here, they have a local couple come in who makes everythin with local seafood and the conch fritters and the lobster ceviche were great (and cheap).

Roatan

Great room, spent a lot of time on the balcony... The storage is just about adequate for two people, would be cramped for more.

Teppanyaki - OK, this is not for the food, it is for the fun and we always enjoy it
Bamboo - Food was good (dim sum was great)
La Bistro - Disappointing on the Dawn (usually a great option on NCl however) food was overcooked, slow to come out and to be honest they just seemed overwhelmed
BARS - For us one of the most important relationships on a cruise is "connecting" with a couple of Bar tenders (yes we enjoy the UBP).It rained in almost every port (you know, that rain that just comes down in sheets) so many excusions were cancelled, however we had a great time drinking and eating at the Monkey La La in Rotoan (right off the ship).
