Just returned from our 5th cruise. This was our first with Princess. Have sailed in the past on RCCL and Norwegian.

EMBARKATION. We had a very early flight and got to the terminal around 10:45. We waited until 11:30 and they began letting us into the waiting area. As you walk in they give you a number so that there is not a lot of waiting getting on board. Since we were one of the first, we were on board in less than 10 minutes from our number being called. Princess does embarkation very well.

SHIP. Beautiful ship, a lot of care goes into keeping the ship in great shape. We did miss the 12 story atriums from the RCCL ships however. The board also only had one deck that went around the entire ship (after you climbed a series of steps. It made it difficult to get around. Some elevators only went to certain floors. The elevators were slow, so we usually used the stairs (helped us from gaining too much weight).
