Just back from a week on the Carnival Liberty. Really loved the Hilton Orlando as a pit stop on the way but it was a bit of a trek to Port Canaveral.

The Liberty is an older ship and it is showing its age in some cases. Our cabin needed a redo. It was a bit of a rougher cruise than I'm used to - this was mainly because of the weather and I may avoid cruising in the fall in future. There was a lot of ongoing vibration (even when we were docked).

The high level of service and the cleanliness of the ship helped make up for this.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8C

Cabin was kept clean and comfortable but it hasn't been update in any recent refit. The lamp shades in the cabin were worn and stained. The housekeeping team on this trip were efficient and friendly. The bed was comfy, the bathroom a reasonable size and so was the balcony. Location was only a couple of decks below the buffet area so easy to access the food! We had cabins above and below so noise level was very low and elevators were just down the hall.
