This is my 4th cruise with Carnival and everytime has been great. I'm not there for the food so you won't get complaints from me in that area. I like their Blue Iguana Cafe, Guy's Burger joint was good and the dining room always had a good variety and when all else fail the 24 hour pizza place hits the spot. This was my first time staying in a suite and a new experience for me. I must say the check in process for suites is ridiculous. A bunch of people in a crowded lounge with 2 agents calling each couple out. My friend in a regular cabin got done before I did. We were the first to board though after check in. You can get your pictures and they are not pushy about it, it is really optional. The ship has lots of places to explore, many lounges and bars, my favorite was the Alchemy bar. Try the sampler when they have it, it's a fun experience and quite a bargain. The service onboard was excellent. We sat in the same area each night for dining and by the end of the cruise the staff was like family. The last night was my birthday and my entire serving team sang to me and were just amazing. Lots of chairs by the pools, and always room at the adult pool. It's a nice sized adult pool too, not a spool like on some other ships. We upgraded the day before we left to an ocean suite. It was amazing! I loved the option to have a bath in the jacuzzi tub. I just wish it was a little shorter, hard for short people to climb into it. The balocony was nice and roomy as was the rest of the room. It will be hard to go back down to a regular balcony room. Our room steward Aileen was so sweet and very attentive to our needs and made us feel like we were old frends. They serviced our room when we left for breakfast and then again did turndown as we left for dinner with our nightly towel animal. I have no complaints about carnival. I have racked up 20 sailing days with them and am a firm believer in you get what you pay for, sure it's cheap, so I don't expect a fancy schmancy ship with people dressed to the nines and Michelin rated restaurants. If you go in expecting that then you will be disappointed. But if you want a good price for a decent place to stay that will take you to beautiful destinations and have decent entertainment and activities, this is the cruise line for you.

This room was amazing. Nice and big, tons of closet space. Good storage space in the bathroom and the vanity area. I loved the option to have a bath in the jacuzzi tub especially after a long day in the sun. I just wish it was a little shorter, hard for short people to climb into it.The bed is situated better in a suite than it is in a balcony room. The suite feels like a big hotel room and makes you feel less like you are on a ship. The balcony is large and you can actually move around on it without feeling crowded. I am glad I tried it once but for the price I will probably go back to a regular balcony room on my next vacation.
