Sail Date: Nov 2014
Cabin: Stateroom with French balcony and outside balcony

In November we cruised the Danube from Vilshofen to Budapest on this beautiful new ship. Every moment was amazing as was the staff. The cruise director, Peter, worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone's needs were met and that we all enjoyed ourselves. The same can be said about every staff member. The Captain was very visible and friendly.

Embarkation was quick, flawless and we were soon enjoying the Oktoberfest celebration in a tent on the dock.

The tours and guides ranges from very good to excellent, the food was well prepared and plentiful. I would have liked a bit less salt in some dishes but that is personal taste. This was a wine cruise and we enjoyed all the opportunities to sample not only regional wines but the wines from our hosts' winery, Wilson Creek in Temecula, CA. Their presentations were interesting and enjoyable .
