This was my first cruise and it was a blast! First and foremost, I totally recommend to pay for "Faster to the Fun" because it was totally worth every penny! The cost is "per cabin" not "per person". I cruised with 2 friends (both had been on cruises before) and I did a lot of research prior to sailing to make sure that I was totally prepared for anything that may come up during our cruise! I prepared a "cabin bag" with a variety of items including a cork screw, clorox wipes, small plastic cups, ginger gum and ginger lozenges (in case of sea sickness), thank you notes/pens (to hand write notes with extra tips if needed), a small first aid kit and a power strip (since the plug space is limited in the cabin). We used almost everything, except the ginger gum and first aid kit. The best part was there was no pressure to do ANYTHING! But, there were lots of activities available to participate in if you wanted to. Or you could just lounge around and do nothing and that was just fine also! I had been warned by more that one person that this was a booze cruise and lots of singles loitering around everywhere drunk all the time, but, we never saw anything inappropriate. Also, because our cruise was during the "off season", it was not filled to capacity and that made it very nice and not crowded at all. With the exception of our last night on the ship, dining in the dining room was a fun experience. We selected the "anytime dining" and never waited for more than a minute or two to be seated. We actually sat in different areas the 3 nights we ate in the dining room and the final night (I think it was busier because it was an at sea day and the final night of the cruise) our service was a little slower than the previous nights and we were seated next to a work area for the wait staff and it was a little loud and congested at times. The food was amazing in the dining room and I liked that the serving sizes were what a normal serving size should be and it was perfect! Not too much, not to little that you wanted more. Some of the activities were scheduled a little late and night and there didn't seem to be a lot of participation. The food at the buffets for breakfast and lunch was very good with a large selection. We liked to grab our meal and sit outside on the deck and eat (after all, we are on a cruise with a beautiful view!) There were plenty of choices for snacks as well. We rarely waited in line for food or drinks at any time of the day or night. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. I also decided to take advantage of one of the specials in the spa and combined a few services lasting 2 hours! There was no one in the area where I was until the last 30 minutes or so and it was very relaxing and worth every cent!

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6B

Our room was much bigger than I was expecting! We had 2 twin beds and the configuration gave us much more room that our friend who had just one king bed. We were on the 4th level (lowest level of rooms) had an ocean view room with a wonderful view during the day or night because of how close we were to the ocean. Our room was very clean and we had an amazing cabin steward who made sure that we were always stocked with fresh ice (without us even asking!) and helped us figure out the problem tv in our room. The beds were comfortable, there was lots of storage space (in closets and side tables) and the set up worked perfect.
