The price was right and the food was good enough for us to gain about 5 pounds but the ship and especially the entertainment left much to be desired. I've been on over 40 cruises and this was my least favorite. The ports were not really the draw so the ship was really the destination. We had not been on such a large ship before but found that most of the public venues were too small for the activities. The other large ships I've sailed on usually had a heated solarium pool which would have been nice going out of NY in the winter. The activities were geared to a younger crowd much like Carnival. Much of the music was not to our liking and all was very loud. Reservations were necessary for the main evening entertainment. We didn't care for the vulgar musical Rock of Ages. Second City was all right but I was not even interested in seeing the dance show Burn the Floor. The best show was Cirque Dreams but it cost about $40 extra and was a dinner theater which distracted from watching the show. On sea days most of the activities were physical, held outside (many cancelled because of bad weather), pushed spa treatments, or cost extra. Trivia was the exception and we really did enjoy that. There were a large number of small children on our cruise which made most dining less than enjoyable. The highlight for me was to be snorkeling at Stirrup Cay but that stop was cancelled because of rough seas. In spite of all this, we still had fun and the quality of the food was quite good.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BB

Balcony small. We moved one bedstand and pushed the bed over so we could get to the closet. Bathroom and shower very nice.
