Boarding in Singapore was smoothly handled and it did not take long for our luggage to arrive at our cabin.
Dining: This was our first experience of Anytime Dining and it took a few visits to the different dining rooms to finally settle on the Savoy with a wait team who were extremely friendly and helpful. From then on the Head Waiter kept us a reserved table. Food was fine but the repetition/recycling of menus was disappointing. This is the first Princess Cruise where I have sent a dish back to the kitchen - pan-seared fish fillet which was like a piece of rubber. We were also surprised to see Macaroni Cheese on the dinner menu having previously experienced this on a Carnival cruise.
Afternoon tea service needs a major overhaul. The ship needs to have more coffee outlets rather than the overworked Atrium bar and the bar on deck 14.
Very happy with our choice of cabin. Balcony is small but does give the option to spend time outside when you don't want to go to a public area. Wardrobe and storage space was great. Shower is a little small. Bed comfort is certainly enhanced if you ask for an "egg crate" mattress topper. Our cabin steward was unobtrusive, friendly and extremely helpful - in fact he could not have done a better job.We found that we had to leave our AC set at the coldest temperature to feel any benefit and also asked our steward for a sheet rather than the normal comforter.
