Having cruised many times, and also having been onboard the Freedom three years ago, our expectations were high. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing cruise.

Port Canaveral is one of our all time favorite cruise ports. The terminal is outstanding, and it's so easy to get to. Because we were with a group of about 30 people, and we spent the night before at the Radisson Resort at the Port, left our cars there and used their shuttle service getting to and from the Port. Highly recommend this resort. Everything they did for us was outstanding - beautiful resort facility with a fabulous staff. My partner and I are travel agents and from the time we started working with RCCL when we put this group together, until the day we returned from the cruise, RCCL was a Royal Pita. The next time we do a group, we will not be on RCCL. One screw up after another, and nothing seemed to get better once we got on the ship.

Our Balcony cabin was extremely nice, and our cabin steward did a fantastic job every single day. He was always nice and polite and went out of his way to be accommodating, but he was the exception. My husband and I have never been on a cruise ship where the staff has said NO so much to everything your ask. Very unaccommodating, and uncaring. The worse experience is My Time Dining. They made us do it because we were in a group, It was not a good experience, and we would rather do fixed dining times, because that's what EVERYONE who was on My Time Dining did. They made reservations for every day at the same time, for the same table. If you didn't have a reserved dining time and tried to get in, nothing was ever available. That's NOT how My Time Dining is supposed to work.
