My wife and I had sailed with MSC to the Carribean before and enjoyed the experience. That's why we chose to sail with MSC again. Unfortunately, this cruise was not up to our expectations. Our room was great and the maid was top notch. We could not have asked for better. While we had a great room at the stern of the ship with a balcony, the dining experience was not the greatest. our waiter at dinner was good. We felt the Management was the reason why the breakfast was so disorganized. The food was adequate but we felt the chef was trying to be too fancy. We have been on five cruises with different cruise lines and Fantacia was the worst for food.

As far as the excursions were concerned, they took us to where we wanted to go. However, on one of the excursions in Turkey, we were required to go to a high end leather store with a fashion show. Following they tried to sell us very expensive leather jackets. If you go to Turkey you want to see the country, not buy leather goods that you could get at home. We are convinced the tour guide got a free jacket for taking us there.

All in all by the time the cruise was finished, we were sick and tired of the food and just wanted to get home. we will go with another cruise line should we sail again.
