My husband and I were wanting to take a cruise and didn't really know where to start. It was our first cruise and I read TONS of reviews, trying to get an idea of what would be the best option for us. MSC was one of the options in the correct price range so we explored it as an option. Everyone we asked had never heard of MSC so we weren't sure we should try it. And all the reviews online were pretty mixed, some people loved it and others hated it. In the end, we booked on the MSC Divina and hoped it would turn out good.

Let me just say that it was way more than I expected!! We loved it!!

Our cruise departed at 7pm from Miami, FL and our ticket said to be at embarkation by 4pm. I believe we arrived around 2pm, waited in line about an hour and were on board by 3pm or so. It went pretty smoothly. Everyone at the port was helpful. Once on board, we found our room and both our suitcases were delivered to our room before dinner. No problems with any of that.

Cabin Review

Cabin 9

We loved our room!! Great location in the middle of the ship. Close to an elevator and never heard people walking around in the hallway. We had staterooms above and below us so we didn't hear the noise from the bars/lounges/night clubs. This was great! Always kept clean. Lots of space. Highly recommend the balcony for those that want to relax in your room, read on your balcony, etc. Well worth the upgrade cost.
