We did not do an excursion. We got in line early to go on shore and explored for about an hour close to the port. The immediate port area was nice shops that were quite touristy. Once you exit the port, there were lots of hagglers wanting you to buy their stuff. This was quite annoying. We spent about an hour just walking around close to the port and were back on the ship by lunch time.

Falmouth

We did not do an excursion. The ship was at anchor so we had to take a little shuttle boat to the shore. We had to wait in line for this and then it was about a 5 minute ride. There was a lot of touristy shopping directly at the port. Not very interesting for us.Before we left on our cruise, we went to Walmart and purchased 2 snorkeling sets to take with us. We went online and located the port at Georgetown. Then we found a beach (Smith's Cove) close to the port. We left the ship early in the morning and took a taxi to the cove ($15) and snorkeled for about an hour. It was beautiful. There were only about 5 other people there which was GREAT! The water was clear and we even saw about a 3-foot long shark! We walked back to the ship as it only ended up being a 20 minute walk. We didn't really need to take the taxi in the first place but we weren't sure how long it was going to be. We'd definitely go back here next time. No one else from the ship was there! We avoided all the crowds that all went to 7 mile beach.We were back on the ship by lunch time and relaxed on board for the afternoon.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We did not take an excursion. Again, we went on shore as soon as we arrived in the morning and explored for about an hour near the port. There were lots of touristy shops but not much haggling, which was nice. The water in Cozumel was beautiful. So clear! In the end we were back on the ship by lunch and relaxing on board for the afternoon.We were kind of wishing we had done the dune buggy excursion. We saw some people doing it and it looked fun. I think this excursion also included beach/snorkeling.

Cozumel

This island was absolutely beautiful! It's the private island belonging to Norwegian cruise line. We were at anchor and had to take a small boat to shore. This took about 15 minutes. The people from the Divina were the only people on the island that day so we had it to ourselves. There were beautiful and clean beaches and plenty of lounge chairs for everyone. We walked a bit past the main beach so that we could avoid the crowds a bit. We found some lounge chairs under some trees and went snorkeling. Again, the water was pretty clear and we even saw a sting ray! So cool!! The cruise set up lunch on the island that was included in the price of the cruise. We had hamburgers, salad, grilled veggies, slaw and cookies. It was a nice beach lunch. Great beach day!

Great Stirrup Cay

We loved our room!! Great location in the middle of the ship. Close to an elevator and never heard people walking around in the hallway. We had staterooms above and below us so we didn't hear the noise from the bars/lounges/night clubs. This was great! Always kept clean. Lots of space. Highly recommend the balcony for those that want to relax in your room, read on your balcony, etc. Well worth the upgrade cost.

Instead of turning our bags back to the cruise staff and collecting them who knows when later, we were able to walk off the ship in one of the first groups to leave and just carry our stuff ourselves.We mostly just wanted to relax on our cruise and not do loads of excursions so we spent a little extra money to get a balcony room.
