Did our first cruise ever, and it was fantastic. The Cruise ship was huge. We stayed in Venice a few days prior to boarding the MSC Divina for our 7 day cruise in the Mediterranean. We had a balcony room on the 12th deck. I was a little concerned about being on a ship and sea sickness but it wasn't a problem and you could hardly feel the movement on the ship. Food was in abundance and entertainment was great each night. The ports we visited were, departure from Venice, Italy, Bari, Italy, Katakolon, Greece, Izmir and Istanbul, Turkey, Dubrovnik, Croatia and back to Venice. Pre booked our shore excursions before we left Australia, not sure if this was a good thing or not but it worked for us. Didn't do to much on the ship as we disembarked at each port but there was plenty happening. Cabins clean and serviced daily. The dinner seating for us was at 9pm which was a little late but we could have changed it to an earlier seating at 6.30pm but decided not too. It was formal dinning, service was excellent and food was a 3 course meal daily. They had a Gala night but it was up to you if you wanted it to be formal or not. Themed nights were also on offer but it was up to you to participate. Overall highly recommend this cruise line had a wonderful time. So now l am planning another cruise to Hawaii on the Pride of America in March 2015 hoping that this will be just as wonderful.
Great room easy to find, very comfortable.
