This was our 34th cruise on various cruise lines. We are Platinum members so we have at least 6 cruises on Princess. After a cruise we took on Princess in February 2104 I wrote a letter to their customer relations where I told them the rules regarding smoking were not being applied and how bad their casino is for players. Also that even though the casino was posted no smoking on the formal nights, a large group of people were not required to follow the casino rules because of the amounts of money that was being bet by them . These people smoked at the tables and throughout the casino and no manager, dealer or other employee in the casino would say or do anything about it. When I complained to the casino manager he just walked away. The No Smoking policy for the formal nights was also listed in the daily newsletter.

This cruise was more of the same and in addition they allowed passengers into the dining rooms on formal nights wearing t-shirts when there is a definite dress code sent to everyone that the dress is at least suits and semi formal for women.

The casino had two $5 tables and one $25 table with continuous shuffling machines. The only reason to use these machines is to take as much money as fast as the can from the players. Although no one played at the $25 table they would not change it to a $10 shoe table so four of us could play.

Cabin Review

Adequate and the cabin steward was good.
