My wife and I had the greatest vacation ever on your Grand European cruise - by the way this was our 1st time on any kind of cruise. We started in Budapest, Hungary which is a must see city. We took a land vacation 7 years ago to Budapest and the improvements they have made there since then is amazing. Next we cruised through Slovakia and saw a country on it's way to really enjoying life. Off to Austria which is one of my favorite countries - the scenery in Wachau Valley is awesome. Vienna and Melk we thoroughly enjoyed. Then onto Germany and see the 3 towns for which we took this trip which were Passau, Bamberg, and Rothenburg. Just to see these 3 towns was worth the price of the trip. Then to see the sites and scenery in the Rhine Valley is a thrill of a lifetime and then there was so many other towns like Regensburg, Nuremberg, Wertheim, Cologne and Koblenz which have their own treasures. Finally we ended our cruise by seeing Kinderdijk with it's many windmills and docking in Amsterdam.

We cruised through 5 countries and the 3 rivers - Danube, Main and Rhine. On this trip we met a couple who lives only 15 minutes from us and we have kept in touch with them and another couple from nearby New York City.

Whoever planned this trip could not have done a better job they nailed it for us. It was a once in a lifetime trip but we will definitely consider doing this exact trip in the future.

Cabin Review

Cabin Middle deck

Better than what we expected. We realized that the Viking Sky was an older ship but we were very pleased with the room.
