Sail Date: Nov 2014

Due to a mistake on MY part, my wife, mother-in-law, and I showed up for our cruise one year to the day early (I signed up for a 2015 cruise through a third party when I thought I was signing up for a 2014 cruise!). The first purser, Dimitri, was so helpful that he got us on the sail anyways at the last minute. "No worries, we take care of the details later." He even got the cruise for less than we paid the third party, and got the third party to agree to a full refund.

The boat was grand, the food five-star, nightly music shows in the Ford-theater replica entertaining, the included hop-on/hop-off included tours very useful, and the extra excursions interesting and a great value. The trip exceeded my expectations.

Just to let you know I'm not an 'everything is fine' person I'll say something critical: the cabin walls and floor transmitted a bit too much of the neighbor's noise and our table in the dining room was over the main diesel generators which passed too much vibration and low frequency noise to our dinner conversations. -there, that's all I have that is negative. Thank you American Queen and company for a great time. Service was top notch. I signed up for a another cruise (different ports) while onboard, after double-checking the year.

Cabin Inside

Small but functional. Can hear neighbor's noise.
