Wonderful experience on this 7-day riverboat cruise.

Thanks to our Viking host, Guillam Van XXX, we had 7 fun-filled days of the French countryside from the River Seine to and from the small town of Roen. From Roen, Viking bussed us to and from the great Normandy beaches and we got a good glimpse of a few battlefields and one of the American cemeteries.

Viking did a masterful job of getting us to the small village of Giverny where the great French "Impressionists", especially Claude Monet, did their wonderful masterpieces. While there, our assigned tour guides were incredibly good about showing us the details of the "Impressionists'" art including some short comparisons of recent magazine pictures to the actual Giverney painting locations.
