Cruised the Epic on Nov 9th. We had been on this ship a couple years ago. At that time, it was pretty new and the hot topic with it's new design. BTW, we just got off a Getaway cruise Nov 1st, so my review may be a bit harsh comparing the 2 ships. They corrected some problems.

The ship has always had it's design issues with the rooms. We always get a balcony cabin. When we arrived, I remembered why we weren't too big on them. the wave in them makes them very, very narrow. You can't get by any one else in the room. If you get room service, they put it on your couch, since there's no place else to put it. And, the lack of a bathroom has a bunch of problems.

Just having a shower, and toilet in their own room, is a big problem. You better be very friendly with your room mate. Even with the curtain, it doesn't leave anything to the imagination with the sound, if you know what I mean. When we first walked in, I didn't remember that part.
