The Oasis is big and beautiful...but almost too big to be thoroughly enjoyed. There are some customer service downfalls with a ship this large. My husband and I were on this cruise to celebrate our anniversary, in August we were on a 4 day cruise on Enchantment of the Seas with kids and we loved it!

The ship came in from a crossing, and there was a very lengthy delay to get on the ship. I work in the travel industry so I have great empathy and patience for delays. However RC dropped the ball. A ship of this size people want to get on, check out the ship, have lunch, and get the vacation started. We were herded like cattle into the Port Everglades terminal. We were all told to sit and wait. The vending machines ran out of snacks and beverages, RC should have anticipated this! I always have snacks and water with me. The lines for the bathrooms were also crazy. People were hungry and frustrated waiting to get on the ship. RC should have provided water and snacks.

The balcony cabin was great but my husband and I felt we were never in the room to enjoy it. There is so much to see on the ship, and we were constantly buzzing around. I did not see the appeal of a Central Park balcony cabin. Why bother if you are not looking at the ocean and getting the benefit of fresh air.
