we are a couple from Dallas Texas area . we have sailed with carnival, ncl, and now celebrity. we are itinerary driven cruisers and chose this cruise because of it's port's of call. all the port were stunningly pretty. we would highly recommend this port, although as far as celebrity goes overall they were just average. of course the crew and all the staff were wonderful, but the food was not good expect for the specialty restaurant Qisne. it was a very unique dinning experience, a must do while on board. the food looked great but the taste was just not there, as did all of our CC buddies agreed .

we arrived at port after a flight from Houston and went straight to the ship. the embarkation was smooth and fast and we were able to go right to our cabin 6145 S1 shy suite and meet our butler(a first for us) he was very nice and helped with our luggage which came minutes after entering the cabin. the suite was very spacious and well appointed with a sofa sleeper, small table, chair, tv armiore, king bed, 2 night stands, desk and chair. this cabin a spare bedroom for the penthouse was 1 of 2 cabins on the whole ship with an extra large bathroom. it was huge with a separate tiled shower, soaking tub, double vanity that had to medicine cabinet mirrors with lots of storage. no need for the shoe rack to store all your bathroom stuff. the balcony was very large with a table and 3 chairs and 2 full size loungers and still had plenty of room to walk around. we had originally booked 1138 aft facing aqua class, but this cabin became available at a cheaper price than the aft , so we thought we would try the suite life for once. now after staying 7 days in a suite we are still not sold . it was nice and fun to have the butler serve us breakfast on the balcony every morning, but it's not worth and extra grand are so.

now about the ports of call: st. Croix, st Kitts, Dominica , Grenada, st. Thomas and back to San Juan.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 1

Cabin S1

this cabin is only 1 of 2 on the whole ship. it is a spare bedroom for the aft penthouse. it is very spacious with a huge bathroom which has a tilled shower and soaking tub, a double vanity , 2 mirrors with storage behind them. and plenty of space to walk around each other. you have a foyer walking in with the closet on the right with plenty of room the put your things in for a 2 week cruise. it has a safe, drawers enough for 2 people and storage under the bed for your luggage, a king bed, a armiore with a tv,refrigerator, and more self's. it has a sleeper sofa, chair and small table with a large desk and chair with even more drawers that my wife took over. the balcony was very large and has a table with 3 chair. great for having your butler serve you breakfast or dinner on. it also has 2 full size loungers on ti with plenty of room to walk around. this room is also large than any other S1 on the ship being the spare for the penthouse. all the appointments in t he cabin were nice. with a pillow menu, nice sheets and a nice medium soft mattress. i sell mattress and we know quality, it was a decent mattress must better then any other ship we have been on, but no i wouldn't buy 1 as they offer them for sell, and as far as having a butler he was great , must better then some of the reviews we have read. he made our reservations, served us breakfast, made sure our cabin was perfect 2-3 times a day, and completed every request fast.
