Got on the ship on Friday about 11:00. We had a suite so we got to the head of the line, however, there were so many people checking passengers in that the lines went quickly. We couldn't go to our cabin until 2:30 but since we checked our bags, we were unencumbered to walk around the ship and have some lunch. When we got to our cabin (owners suite 1020), we were amazed at how large it was. There were three of us and had plenty of room to walk around. There were so many drawers, cabinets and a large walk in closet that we all had room for our stuff and still lots of empty places. The bathroom was roomy. Then came Laila...she was our cabin steward and I thought we hit the jackpot. She was attentive, and even booked a cabana for us on Coco Cay. Too bad the seas were too rough so we couldn't make it to the island and had a day at sea. What really impressed me was within an hour and a half, they were circulating the new compass cruise activity sheets. The completely redid them with "a day at sea" in mind and added tons of fun stuff to do. Nassau Bahamas was beautiful. The people were terrific and we booked a walking food tour. Highly recommend it. In Key West we took the trolley tour of the island. Lots of history, shops, bed and breakfast lodging, really pretty.

Leaving the ship was a breeze. We left, got through customs with no problems or delays. Hint...don't forget a piece of luggage. I got my luggage and forgot I checked an extra bag. Once I left the terminal and realized I lift another bag on the carousel, I had to fill out a form and wait until all passengers got off the ship before customs went through my bag and brought it out. I got off the ship at 9:00 and finally got my bag at 10:40a.m. I would definitely sail on the Majesty of the Seas again. For a smaller, older ship, it was very well kept up, clean, and easy to get around. The food in the main dining room was pretty good all in all, however, the wind jammer food was really disappointing. Much of the food they served was cold (cold eggs, cold hotdogs) and the selection was less than I remember sailing on Royal Caribbean a few years back.

Owner's Suite

Cabin OS

Huge, plenty of space to store your bags, cloths, etc. Walk In Closet, large bathroom with a tub...the perks of a suite are nice too! I am spoiled!!!
