We did a 4 night cruise before a transatlantic on Royal Caribbean Independence of the Sea. It seemed silly to fly to England and not see some of Europe.

We arrived in Heathrow the morning of the cruise. We had transfers thru the cruise line. Upon arrival we could not find the Royal rep but as we sat and drank some tea, she found us by noticing our luggage tags. Shortly after we were on our way to the ship.

Check in was smooth, easy and quick. We were on the ship by 11am. Up to the Windjammer but they weren't ready yet. No problem, we explored the Independence. Beautiful and very clean.

Cabin E2

Immaculately clean. Well appointed but little room between wall and bed...had to shimmy off bed. Had tea pot set up.
