I really liked the Legend. It is smaller than any ship I had ever sailed on before, There are definite advantages as well as a few disadvantages.

Advantages - the staff is fabulous. And because the ship was smaller, they recognized us and treated us like royalty. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy, For the first time, I met the Captain and his wife in the Concierge Lounge visiting everyone - as well as at the Welcome Back party. They were friendly and warm. A lovely couple! The walk to any location on the ship was much shorter, after being on the Oasis in June, with sciatica, I really appreciated the shorter walk.

Disadvantages - our room was close to the centrum. They used the centrum for a lot of their entertainment - such as arial shows and the 50's shows - since we cruised in the North in colder weather, the centrum was always packed and the noise was slightly louder than we've experienced in the past. It didn't stop me from sleeping, however. The other disadvantage was that we hit some bad weather. Waves 15 to 20 ft high - and on a smaller ship, we felt it more. Actually, the rocking put me to sleep, but I am sure others might have suffered a bit.

The room was nice and roomy with plenty of storage space. I loved the coffee pot in the room. It was close to the elevator - and very convenient to everything. Be careful, though, if you sail in the winter. Our room got really chilly on the last night because of the cold balcony glass.
