We haven't cruised much but we definitely consider ourselves cruisers and will be cruising when we can for the rest of our lives.

This Eastern Caribbean cruise was the best that we have been on so far (we've been on another Eastern Caribbean cruise with a competitor). We started cruising with a competitor and once we cruised with RCCL we have no reason to go back to that competitor.

We arrived in Ft Lauderdale the night before and stayed at the Las Olas Hampton Inn downtown-this is another subject but the location was good only because it was close to the Port, the older Hampton locations seem to have issues-but anyway my wife got a last minute email from RCCL stating that we had a check-in time of 230PM. This threw us a bit because we were used to showing up at the port after 12PM getting in line and getting registered/checked in and sitting around until embarkation. This bit of info threw us because we would have been able to ride the hotel shuttle to the port at noon (offered @ $10 each one-way) but we declined because we had gotten that email from RCCL. As it turned out I'm not sure why we even got that email because when we ended up getting to the port around 1PM we were able to check in and board the ship and be in our cabin in the shortest amount of time to date--the check in process was an absolute breeze, we may in fact have been completely finished with boarding before 230. Odd.
