We arrived at the San Pedro dock around 11 am and were in the first group to board. A large tent was set up since there were two other ships in port the same day. There was a very slight drizzle so the tent was welcome. We were about an hour late in departing due to delayed flights from the east coast due to snow.
We selected Traditional Dining in the Provence Dining Room and our servers Zaldy and Christopher were outstanding. One thing we noticed is that everyone in the dining rooms said "excellent choice" for whatever you selected from the menu. They even said that if you declined an item.
Our favorite areas on this ship were Crooners on the Promenade Deck and the Lido Bar on the Lido deck. Occasionally it got windy on the Lido but it was never too cold to be there. After the first two days at sea we had smooth sailing the rest of the cruise and made every port. We missed the heavy rain in Hilo by about 5 hours.
