Wonderful cruise overall. 5 nights in a BA balcony for approx $1000 including all taxes and a $550 room credit for the two of us was a deal we could not refuse. The room credit easily covered the tipping, a couple bottles of wine , a couple buckets of beer, a few drinks around the pool, some beer on the private island, two bottles of duty free liquor and some gift shopping. It does not get any better than that. Most cruise ships are the same. This one seemed overall to be in good condition.

Food was very good. Like I always say it is almost impossible for the dining rooms to compete with the quality of food served in a good resaurant on shore. They are simply cooking for too many. All things considered they did a good job.

Now the two Exceptions......1) We had a huge wait to get on the ship. The line was extemely long and we were a couple hours getting on the ship. We arrived at about 1:00 pm and the line did not move at all for about an hour. Realize this problem is out of their control but seems to happening more and more. Cruiselines should attempt to negotiate with the local authorities regarding getting more staff. Apparently the problem started when they were disembarking and only had two border guards.

Great room. Cabins above and below. Nice and Quiet. Shaded. Down side was you cannot see straight down to the pier. At sailaway the lowest balconies get the best view of the gangway and the pilot boat coming along side.
