Traveling with two toddlers always tempers expectations a bit. We decided that as we both love cruising we would try our fall family vacation aboard the Grandeur. As I dont have a ton of time(parent of two toddlers) to write this I will give you the quick breakdown.

I like so many others who come to cruise critic was immediately fearful based on a certain number of reviews. Having gotten off the boat this week I can honestly say I think some people just will never be happy lol. Is this ship the cutting edge of the cruise industry? of course not. What it is however; is knowing its place and doing little things well. The crew on this ship was fantastic. I had thought having sailed HAL with our infant two yrs ago that there could be no better crew. Grandeur was right on par if not exceeding. They went out of their way to make my wife and kids feel special. The child care facilities although not as large as the mega ships did a wonderful job as well. We are already thinking about going again next yr! PM if you have kid questions on board as we learned a lot over 10 days with a 2 and 3 yr old!

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin K

Cabin was small but truth be told we did well with 4 of us in the small space. Pack lighter than usual!
