We have cruised many times (4 times with NCL). Over all this cruise was OK but not one that would excite you to cruise with NCL again . Embarkation was very slow and impersonal. No smiles or welcome by any staff. The lady that registered us was almost rude. Not the usual update demenor one usually encounters when boarding a cruise ship.Our cabin was not ready at boarding ( which is quite normal) so we went to the dining room for a late lunch. Here to we were met with indifference boarding on rudeness. At this point I was beginning to worry about this cruise. But things improved greatly.

Our inside cabin was very clean and quite spacious for 3( on a ship.) Sanjay, our steward did a wonderful job and was friendly without being too invasive. Food in the dining room was tasty and the service prompt.Entertainment in the theatre was poorly attended------something we had not seen before. The quality of the shows were about what one would expect on a cruise ship---- dancers were fantastic--- female singers need more practice. Of course this is just my subjective opinion!!!!!! Air temperature on board was almost frigid in the publis areas ( which I understand is for germ contro)l but the temperature in our cabin was very warm and could not be adjusted cooler.Not very healthy for us resulting in many on board developing coughs and colds including my husband and daughter.

We only did one ship excursion -----the dune buggy snorkeling tour in Cozumel. It was fun and worth the price. Most folks that we met on this cruise had similar views of this cruise. Not a bad experience but the missed potential for a great one.
