My husband and I cruised to Bilbao, La Rochelle, Brest and Cherbourg on the Azura. We were at sea one day and night and had port stops the other days. Dropping the car went well and check in was ok, but not as quick as it could have been as no one checked we had priority check in, once on board the buffet offered whilst waiting for our cabin was a nice touch. We were in the Orosnay suite C748 (back of the ship to the left of the middle) and we had a fabulous time. The suite was amazing, plenty of room with a double bed, sofa, desk, dressing table, walk in wardrobe, shower, seperate bath, two televisions and a huge balcony with 2 loungers, a table and 4 chairs.

We had a steward and a butler who did all they could to make sure we had a great time. Arun, our butler was able to book a much better time for my massage, a 75 min hot stone massage which was amazing. We did not go in any of the pools, the weather was good for the time of year, but not warm enough to swim, plus we were too busy doing trips out. We did three organised trips, two of which were great, one was a complete disaster. We went on the shuttle buses twice, the first one was really really busy and not enough buses running, but the next time it was a bit easier even though they had announced only a limited service was running. P and O really do need to lay on enough buses for their passengers as the stories we heard were of horrible experiences.

The food was lovely, we were able to go in XXIV for breakfast, which was table service, delicious and quiet. We ate in Oriental each evening bar one at 6.30, this was table service, again delicious with a good choice. We had the same waiters each night who were lovely. The other night we ate in XXIV which was fantastic.

Suite with Balcony

Cabin AC

We stayed in the Oronsay Suite, fabulous room with double bed, sofa, desk, dressing table, walk in wardrobe, fridge, sink, bath, seperate shower, toilet and sink, two televisions, huge balcony with two loungers, table and four chairs. Plenty of room, comfortable bed. Bubbly, fruit, chocolates and sweets to greet you, along with a butler and a steward who will do all they can to make sure you have a lovely time. Absolutely wonderful. The rooms are being renovated next year and real wood being used, this will make it ebpven more wonderful.
