Embarkation was a little unorganized compared to past cruises. Apparently some crew staff thought the ship was boarding when it was not and then you had a back up of people not sure where to go since they could not board. Once they got that straight boarding was painless.

I am traveling with an adult Child that has Autism and I always try to have everything arranged ahead of time. For example he is unable to do the muster drill. In past cruises he and I stay in our cabin and my husband goes . Last year on the Glory we had a Crew member that was assigned to passengers with Special needs . It was wonderful to have a contact person during the trip. We were able to do a private drill and it was nice for my Son to have an idea on what to expect. This time talking with Guest Services was an ordeal. First I am told no we can not stay in our cabin and that it has never been allowed. I asked Guest services what was the point of making arrangements ahead of time if they are going to be so clueless on what my needs are. Not to mention my Son would also need to buy the Cheers program. Finally I get to talk with Marco and he takes care of everything . My Son gets his soda card and gets to stay in the cabin during the drill. We learned after cruise 1 with him not to subject him to the drill. I was disappointed that they did not have anyone assigned to the guests with Special needs . So each time I went to guest services I would have to repeat my history.

We always get an Ocean Suite so we can have priority boarding and disembarking . We had cabin 7175. Great location . I was disappointed in the bathroom layout. Unlike the others in the past , this bathroom was small and only one person could be in there. They had a strange hair dryer that reminded me of a vacuum cleaner hose. This was also in the bathroom. It made the dressing area a waste of space. Plus there was no door , so you had to dress in the bathroom. I'm sure that sounds like whining but that's why I pay more. So my Son has a little more space. Also there was no room for a table to put his room service food on.

Over priced for this suite size. Need your own hair dryer so others can utilize the bathroom . The dressing area does not have a door , so if you need to change it has to be in the bathroom. Unlike past suites which you could close yourself off in. Great location near elevators but you don't hear them.
