We had an awesome trip !! Yes, the Sunshine is laid out in a very disorganized way seems to me, but we soon found our way around. Our cabin steward was amazing. Our cabin was always clean, ice bucket full and no request to small or large to accommodate. Jamie the cruise director as well as her staff ( Alex, Shannon and Morgan) were very friendly and approachable. I felt we were always getting the most up to date information during the cruise. Yes, the weather was not the best, but we were cruising so all is good even though we got soaked in St Thomas. Yes, The decks were wet a lot of the time, but I was always seeing someone with the Zamboni vacuum or a mop in hand trying to keep ahead of the rain. Yes, the elevators were a pain, especially since we were on the 12th floor so we only had 2 that reached that high and usually 1 of them was locked for employee use, but we went on the cruise with loads of patience and now know we will never book a floor higher than deck 10..... Problem solved. Yes, we hated having to walk through all the smoke from the casino, but we learned to use other decks to get to that end of the ship. Another problem solved. The shows maybe weren't to the standard of others we have seen on other ships, but they were entertaining non the less and we especially enjoyed the 70"s rock show on Friday night. We ate in the MDR room every night and had great food and service from our wait staff Nelson, Karolina and Rosario whom we requested each night. They were attentive (our glasses were never empty and our food was always brought to us in a timely manner.) They were very funny with jokes, dancing and stories. I ordered a steak in the MDR for an extra charge from the steak house. It was OK, but not that great to pay an extra $20 for. (Very grissely) So, if that is the quality of meat you get at the steakhouse and have to pay $35 for..... I don't think I will be going there because why wouldn't I get the same quality of meat delivered to the MDR? The omelets were amazing every morning at the omelet station. My husband had them every morning. Disembarking went very fast and smooth. We were off the ship and sitting on our shuttle bus by 9:30 and at our vehicle before 10am and on our way home. I agree there were some hiccups during our week on the Sunshine, but we still had a wonderful time and yes I would cruise on her again.

Cabin 8T

Our cabin a great size. Our cabin steward was awesome (I'm sorry I can't remember his name ) He kept it clean and well stocked with any requests we had. Extra pillows, ice buckets, ice. etc. The only negative things I can say about it is 1.. The carpet looked stained as if it had been flooded. It wasn't wet or anything, just looked bad. The 2nd is the shower was a lot smaller than others we have had in other cabin types. We like the rectangle sized showers, not the corner ones.
