My wife and I just took our first cruise with Celebrity, on Eclipse to the Canaries, Oct 19-30. We’re experienced (Elite level) cruisers on Princess, and have also cruised a bit with other lines (P&O, Cunard, Azamara).

As we’ve done a lot of Princess cruises, I found myself comparing Celebrity and Princess: here’s my comparison. Obviously this is a personal view based on what’s important to me on a cruise, others may have different perceptions – indeed, I met a couple of passengers on Eclipse who had cruised once with Princess and would not do so again.
