Having said that we arrived in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, Oct 24 and stayed at the Hyatt Place Suites Airport. It is about 3 miles from airport and is very nice. Our room was very nice, comfortable bed, huge shower and had a nice sitting area with coach, desk, and small table . Our room was by the elevator but we never heard a sound all night. The next day we had a full complimentary breakfast in the lobby Very nice!
We booked a car through limos.com and the car was there ready at 10:00 for our ride to Miami. We had the driver stop at Publix so we could buy water and pop, and there was no additional charge. Highly recommended. We arrived at the port by 10:45 and walked right in to check in. Very easy and quick. We waited in the terminal for about half hour and then on the ship we went!
Cabin is close to elevators, but never heard any noise. Splash Academy is right around the corner, but again never heard noise. Great location! Just the right amount of movement to lull you to sleep. Bathroom is nice, amble storage. Didn't have any problem with storage in room, suitcases fit under bed. Balcony is small but we enjoyed it no matter the size. Our room steward was fine, she took care of our basic needs, but did forget a few requests we made. If you join your roll call, attend the cabin crawl. It gives you a a chance to see most categories of cabins for future reference.
