MSC Opera - Captain, ship and staff - take a bow! Wow, I have just disembarked from the Opera in Durban (trip from Cape Town) Wow MSC have certainly upped the ante. I cannot rave enough about the ship, the staff, the food, the facilities, the improved boarding and disembarking procedures. I have been on just about every MSC ship that has been in Durban over many years and sailed on a ship from a rival company in the Mediterranean extensively .

BEST of all, I was blown away AGAIN by Casey, Anita and her team at Buffalo Bills Kids Entertainment Centre. One of my main reasons for sailing is the child care facilities (I have a difficult hyperactive ADHD child) and this time it was tops again and MORE! My 8 year old son kept counting the hours until he could go back to kids club and was so very excited to see Anita and Casey again. Their patience, understanding, and enthusiasm in keeping the kids entertained is top class - confidently I could go ashore knowing my child was in the very best care. It is for this reason I have booked to sail on the Opera in the Mediterranean next year and I have booked my 81 year old mother on a cruise to Portuguese Islands in March. Thank you MSC.
