Our cruise with Carnival Miracle was great! We left Colorado in a blizzard and had 7 days of terrific weather. The ship was so big (our first cruise) we were the couple stationed in front of the elevators most of the time trying to figure out where we were. We found the Lido deck to be pretty noisy and even though we were outside the smoke was sometimes overwhelming. The buffet was a little confusing and by the time you found what you wanted, the food on your tray was cold. The buffet area was very clean and the waiters were extremely helpful. The food was good and there was a variety of choices. The waiters in the dining room were very nice and always made every attempt to make our meals perfect. Most of the choices we made were pretty good. The warm melting cake was by far the best dessert and we had MANY!! When we ordered another choice sometimes Ana would bring us a warm melting cake just in case we didn't like the dessert we had ordered. She was wonderful.

Grand Cayman: We took a taxi to 7 mile beach. We had a very rude taxi driver that upped the price after we got to the beach. He was aggressive and I was a little nervous, not wanting my husband to end up in a Cayman jail, I shoved the extra amount in between them and the situation ended.

Cozumel: I was a little sea sick the night before so in the 80+ weather I wasn't a live wire. I had to visit a very quaint restroom where 50 cents will buy you two squares of toilet paper, handed to you buy a woman sitting in front of the restroom. Long story short...I left my purse hanging in this quaint bathroom and went out to the plaza to shop. I discovered my purse missing after I wanted to pay for a silver pendant. Of course, when I went back my purse was not there. A man stepped out from a building and called me by name. He said "Come with me" I said "NO" He said" We have your purse." He was with a group of Canadian cruisers (from another ship) they had positioned themselves on all corners of the plaza and waited for me. I am one lucky gal! They were so kind.
