We are experienced cruisers and usually take 2 or 3 cruises per year. Our last 4 cruises have been on Celebrity (Aqua Class). Sine the Royal Princess was new and we previously had good experiences on the Carribean Princess, we excitedly book a Mini-suite.

Pros

Food quality: Buffet was very good with quality food, great variety and ample seating. International plaza (24 hours) was excellent. Dining room food was good. Pastry area was to die for. The BEST pizza on Deck 16. Hand made, tossed with fresh dough all day. We ate pizza every day. I enjoyed the popcorn during the movies too. Alfredo's (sit down pizzeria) was no extra charge and we enjoyed that for lunch twice. The Crown Grill was excellent. Sabatinis was just ok ( limited menu, decor so-so, very small portions)

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

The balcony is exceptionally small and barley fits 2 people and 1 small table. This is substantially smaller than all other balconies we have had on other ships.
